The fertile soils of Hawke's Bay produce a cornucopia of fresh, high-quality produce. Farm-to-table dining is a way of life here, and the local restaurants showcase this abundance with creative, seasonal menus. This is a huge stone and pip fruit growing region.
The Gorgeous Creatures team love great Asian food, this can be difficult to find in the Hawkes Bay. We haven't tried everywhere yet, but here are the ones we keep going back to. Unfortunately we have not been able to find good Yum Cha in the Hawkes Bay.

Hawkes Bay Farmers Market - The bustling Hawkes Bay farmers' market is a food lover's paradise. You can taste your way through artisanal cheeses, olive oils, sausages, honeycomb, walnut brittle, bread and pastries, plump summer fruits, and gourmet goodies crafted by local artisans. The Hawkes Bay Farmers' Market on is on every Sunday from 8.30am – 12.30am. Dogs allowed on a lead. Located at the Waikoko Gardens at Tomoana Showgrounds - entrance is down Kenilworth Road Waipatu in Hastings on the right. Parking is plentiful and free.
